Chanel was a Poodle Spaniel cross who visited hospital with one of her People who works there since she was 6 months old.
She left us a couple of years ago, after a lifetime of making people happy.
And still today people remember her with affection, and ask after her.
When she was old enough she became an official Volunteer Dog.
She visited a few times on trial, did some 'on the job training', showed she had the right temperament, and got used to the sights and sounds of the hospital.
Then she had an interview, provided references and received her official ID.
She loved going to the hospital, and whenever her travelling box was taken out she jumped right in.
People at the hospital loved seeing her too.
